-Touch in the result area to use the measure line, bordered label means where is a peak.
-Current waveform display and summary waveform display.
-Record the sound for 10 seconds.
-Play back the recording and review the result.

Pros and cons of iAnalyzer Lite app for iPhone and iPad
iAnalyzer Lite app good for
This app provides a visual representation of sound. As a teacher, I could SHOW students the difference in amplitude (volume) and (pitch) frequency. The students really enjoyed observing and manipulating the graphic display. The dB meter is a little awkward to access and the values change too quick to be useful. I would be interested in getting the full version but $20 is too much to spend on an App for five minutes in a lesson once a year.
I will be purchasing the full version. Thank you for the free tryout.
Thank you!
Features to add...
1) Save the recording file [SAVE button]
2) WIFI Transfer to PC
3) Naming recorded file
4) PLAY, RECORD button size - bigger (sometimes not function)
5) convinient moving on the specific position of record file
Bye!
Thanks for the free version. I would buy the full version, but considering I personally have no real use for it I dont think I want to spend $10 on it.
Good useful utility app! Already used it to isolate some frequency noise in my home and external sources that were interfering with other sensitive equipment. Have used it as a heart monitor. This app is really good, needs a bit more, please.
What I would like to see is the following:
1. Increase frequency spectrum sensitivity to 32 kHz
2. Ability to save recording to a file on iphone
3. Variable speed playback
4. Provide user choice of variable recording time up to 30 seconds
Thanks ...
How can it be used to tune? Needs some instructions. Also 20 dollars is a bit much. Can you sell for less costs.
Some bad moments
I got this to see if it would return useful values for ambient workplace noise and i am surprised at its capability and simplicity. Not sure if i want to go upgrade though because the buttons for run and clear for example are unresponsive at times.
Worked only once and then locked up. Would not respond to any touch inputs until force-closed and reopened. Then only after opening the "full version" button. Thereafter only works for one operation per launch. Have to force-close and relaunch for each attempt. Very poorly done. Waste of time. I wouldnt even give it 1 star but 1 is the minimum rating.
Use the app one time I clicked on full version to see how much free app doesnt work anymore!
App freezes after one or two key presses. Was a nice app when it worked.
This product boasts of being able to pick up sounds and display them for you, but fails. It can only detect as low as 24Hz, and human hearing can detect sound as low as 20. Can this be modified? I cant justify playing $20 on half a app.
